  • Are you excited by working on cutting edge research and technology development in the area of wearable technology and assistive devices? Do you have an interest in how academic research can be translated to innovative products? Do you get excited about enabling a future where sensors can collect rich biomechanical and physiological data to enable athletes to train/recover better, patients to perform rehabilitation at home, or guide older adults how best to exercise to stay mobile? Do you have a passion for sensor development and signal processing and working in fast paced environments and multi-disciplinary teams?     In this role you will work on new sensor development and signal processing approaches for innovating new approaches to analyzing human data over time, including biomechanical and physiological data. You will work with researchers in robotics, bioengineering and computer science, and other exciting fields to explore new ideas for cloud-connected wearable devices that monitor and assist with human movement. You will lead overall sensor development efforts, primarily focusing on overall new approaches for monitoring muscle activity with non-invasive sensors e.g. ultrasound. You will bring strong technical expertise coupled with a demonstrated passion to explore new application areas and use cases.
